Alan Francis began his working career at Rufford Hospital looking after the grounds of this 200 acre estate.
At the age of 20 he broke in to Southport Football Club's first team where he had a memorable 2 seasons captaining the side once in an F.A. cup tie with St Helens town in 1984.
Alan gained his City and Guilds in Horticulture and decided to setup his own landscaping business and after an initial struggle with the financial support from his parents he has made a terrific success and now has a splendid reputation for his very high standard of work with the support of his colleague David Moulton (pictured right)
All Alans work comes from recommendations which is a testimony to the quality of work that he provides. In 2007 for the very first time he constructed a garden at the prestigious Southport Flower Show winning a gold medal.
