All of our work comes from recommendations which is a testimony to the quality of work that we provide. We have been operating for over 30 years and have established ourselves as a company which takes great pride in providing quality jobs and customer satisfaction. In 2007 for the very first time we constructed a garden at the prestigious Southport Flower Show winning a gold medal. In 2008, we won our first Large Gold medal and Best in Show for our Anfield themed garden. In 2013 we repeated the same feat for the second time. In 2016, as part of his apprenticeship scheme, Glen completed a garden for Myerscough College and won a gold medal becoming the youngest person ever to win a gold medal at the Southport Flower Show. Since 2007, we have won four gold medals and two large gold medals and two challenge trophies. Not many companies can boast two individual winners of Flower Show Gold Medals.
Meet the Team
Alan Francis
Owner and company founder in 1983.
Alan Francis began his working career at Rufford Hospital looking after the grounds of this 200 acre estate. At the age of 20 he broke in to Southport Football Club’s first team where he had a memorable 2 seasons captaining the side once in an F.A. cup tie with St Helens town in 1984. Alan gained his City and Guilds in Horticulture and decided to setup his own landscaping business and after an initial struggle despite the financial support from his parents he has made a terrific success and now has a splendid reputation for his very high standard of work.
David Moulton
David has worked for Alan since 1995. David is a kind hearted and hard working gentlemen who specialises in attention to detail and paving.
Glen Francis
The youngest son of Alan and Southport Flower Show gold medal winner in his own right. He is close to completing his City and Guilds Level 3 Landscaping and Horticulture. He has as been working for Alan since 2013.
