For 2012 Alan wanted to build a garden without using any cement or hard landscaping materials. The fence was made out of tree logs standing upright. The log forming the water feature was made from gouging a channel out with a chainsaw. The ‘sea’ was created by planting an area of Juniper ‘Blue Carpet’ plants in a semi circle pattern at the front of the garden. Please note the picture in the gallery of a large tree hornet which took refuge on one of the fencing logs.
